In this lesson, we'll start modeling the low poly sword, beginning with the handle.

lesson Description

We need to create the handle. The first thing that we'll need to do is to create a cylinder. Let's go over to our standard primitives here, create a cylinder, and click and drag to put it in the viewport. Now, I've set this to edge to faces to view the number of polygons I'm working with here. And I'm also working in the orthographic view. Now, once we've spawned, or created our cylinder, let's go over to the left. You can see that we can adjust the parameters in this section here. By the end of the lesson, you will have learned to model the low poly sword, starting with the handle.
