Here we'll learn how to unwrap our model and how to create a UV map.
The first thing you will want to do is we want to select the blade. Let's hide the handguard and handle and wants to delete half of this plate here. So go over to the left view. Make sure that you're selecting the proper vertices. Click on delete. I know they end up with one-half of the blade. The next thing we'll do from there is going over to, in fact, let's go over and convert this into an editable mesh. When you complete your lesson, you will have to learn to unwrap our model and create a UV map.
learn Maya or 3ds Max
Maya is a better animation tool, whereas 3DS Max is better for modeling, texturing, and meshing models.
